Details: Cleaning of Gravity feed filter bed chambers of capacity of 65000 Gallons per hour by taking out carefully complete sand and Gravel layers, including taking out mud & sludge and filter media from sludge channel and removing the same where as directed by Engineer-in-charge . After taking out the old Filter media such as gravel from filter bed and sludge channel, the complete filter plant shall be washed and cleaned throughly with clean water and bleaching powder and including cleaning and drilling the holes of existing CI pipe and painting of the same with black bituminious paint and necessory minor repairs of pipe and cleaning of clear water channel and two coat of white wash at inner surface of filter beds. After proper cleaning, washing and painting, the filter beds shall be repacked with the new filter media in different layers and testing of entire filteration plant after repacking of new filter media complete all as specified and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
