Tender Description purpose: instrument must be able to determine bursting strength of technical textiles (outdoor as well as indoor), heavy plastics and geotextiles as well as nonwovens, paper, boards and other light weight textiles, and distension at burst of all above materials. the instrument should operate on the principle of hydraulic pressure employing a precision hydraulic system. the bursting pressure should be applied to a circular specimen and distends it to its point of rupture. the measurement units should be expressed in kilo pascals (kpa), bar, and psi. the maximum hydraulic pressure should be 6000 kpa, 60 bar or 870 psi.the instrument control should be through color lcd touch screen panel control.the instrument must have usb interface.burst pressure range: 100 kpa to max. 6000 kpa (870 psi) +/- 1%distension range: max. 70 mm +/- 1% (unit - mm)compressor must be supplied with the machine which can provide up to 8 bar pressure. (with dust filtered < 3 microns and oil content < 1 ppm mass). f
