| Tender Description | repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) scarifying or picking gravelled macadum or bituminious macadum surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm and exc 50mm and n exc 100mm deep complete all as specified and as directed. preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with air compresser machine to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and as directed. m & l for applying tack coat on existing bituminous, cement concrete or primed granular surface to ensure a bond between the surface being paved and the overlaying course with paving bitumen grade vg-10 at the rate of 3 kg per 10 sqm of surface complete |
