| Tender Description | scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bitumen macadam surfaces in area n . exc.400 sqm , depth n.exc 50mm deep complete all as specified and directed. m & for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the clear surfaces with gunny bags to remove dirt etc applying evenly a primming / tack coat with paving bitumen primer @5 kg/10 sqm of road surface for laying bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete/ bituminous macadam complete all as specified and directed. (note: semi dense concrete/ bituminous macadam) will be measured and paid separately) m&l for premix bituminous macadam with thickness (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) with 4% binder content (paving bitumen of grade vg-30) by weight of total mix prepared in hot mix plant, laying of mix with self propelled mechanical paver, duly rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 08 to 12 tonne power roller and vibrating roller etc |
