| Tender Description | 1.0 introduction advanced iron bird is a system integration ground test rig, which facilitates the evaluation and testing of flight control systems (fcs), hydraulic systems, and other utilities like undercarriage systems of single engine and twin-engine aircraft with real hardware. this rig caters for testing of aircraft in closed loop with all real systems in normal modes and failure modes to evaluate and ensure the flight safety on ground. the advanced iron bird is also used to evaluate the flying characteristics, flight software evaluation & flight safety on ground. this document describes the technical requirement specification of bheem eu test facility of lca-af-mk2 aircraft, a ground support equipment (gse) at iron bird- iii rig. the scope of this test facility is listed below. |
