Top ranked works procurement by government agencies in Uttarakhand
The state boasts over 2500 km of canals through which irrigation and water distribution in Uttarakhand is undertaken. The government aimed at enhancing the canal structures through canal rehabilitation and improvement projects and integrated water resource management (IWRM) programs. More than 170 industries are present in the sectors of automobile manufacturing, hydropower, and infrastructure development in the state of Uttarakhand. Paddy is one of the key crops produced by the state of Uttarakhand. The State produces over 6 lakh tons of paddy every year. To improve agriculture and facilitate farmers with high-quality tools and seeds, the government has implemented schemes such as the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) and Uttarakhand Agricultural Diversification Program. The paddy produced by the farmers are procured by the government and transported for storing in godowns and then to the fair price shops. Tenders were published for an annual rate contract for the supply of daily meals for the Campa Gib project. Furthermore, tenders were advertised for maintenance of the canteen at Vidhan Sabha of the state, and event-based tenders were also published based on the dinner category veg/non-veg.
In addition, tenders were advertised for security manpower service in office and residential locations including the provision of unarmed security guard. Additionally, tenders were published for maintenance/operation of 33/11 KV substations, associated HT/LT lines, and attending breakdowns in night hours by providing skilled manpower and a diesel-operated utility vehicle with driver.
