This project will be implemented by the Rajasthan Public Works Department. A total of 266 roads and 35 bridges will be constructed under this project. As many as 301 works will be undertaken, covering 2.369 kilometers of rural roads and bridges with a total length of 3,369 meters. This news is dated 23rd February 2023.
INR 14,200 crore for the East Rajasthan Canal Project:
The Chief Minister of Rajasthan has allocated INR 14,200 Crores for the construction of East Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP). Under ERCP, many works will be undertaken to solve the drinking water and irrigation problems in 13 Districts of Rajasthan State: Construction of Israda Dam, Mahlpur Barrages, Meh Anicut, increasing the height of Bisalpur dam and development of a 202 KM long water transport system. Out of the 14,200 Crores, a sum of INR 13,000 crores is allocated in the State budget 2023-24.
INR 1,700 crores for constructing two dams in Rajasthan:
The Chief Minister of Rajasthan has sanctioned INR 1,700 crores for the construction of two dams (Dewas 3 at Naal Naathiya village and Dewas 4 at Ambava village) with a capacity of 1093 million cubic feet. These 2 dams will be interconnected using a tunnel. and the water from these dams will be flown into Lake Pichola in Udaipur. This project will be implemented over a period of 5 years. The submerged area of the dams will be around 274 hectares, and it will be necessary to rehabilitate approximately 200 families.3 million cubic feet.
INR 480 Crore for Sewage development in Jaipur :
Under the AMRUT 2.0 initiative, the Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) will soon submit a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for renovation of sewerate network in the city. This project is estimated at INR 480 crore, for which the DPR is under preparation.
