Tender Description m&l for racking out external joints , width of joints n exc. 20 mm and depth of joints exc 15 mm but n exc. 25 mm deep of slabs of pavements for removing old damaged sealent from joints including cleaning the surfaces by means of air compressor or vaccum cleaner and m&l for joint filling with polyurethane sealant conforming to bs - 5212 (type fb) after applying primer and masking tape on front edge of joints to prevent accidental spillage of sealent on top surfaces and to give a neat finish to the sealent, including required back up rod and removing masking tape after sealent has been applied all as specified and as directed at site, complete all as specified and as directed by engr-in-charge. (work location : site p)note: (i) minimum depth of sealent should not be less than 15 mm. (ii) testing of the joint sealent as per bs-5212 (type -fb) is included in quoted rate ,nothing extra shall be paid on this account.
