| Tender Description | :fd wss (jerrycans) 1.scope. supply of 30 litre nominal capacity moulded hdpe (polyolefin) jerrican suitable for storage/ transport of potable water, complete with leak proof closure and carrying handle.(i) nominal minimum capacity: 30 litres.(ii) minimum brimful capacity: 31.5 litre (as per is 7408-1 table-1).the hdpe jerricans will confirm to fssai (packaging) regulations & bis standards.2. construction & design parameters.(a) containers type. moulded rectangular/ jerricans type with integral handle. designed to stand stable on base, stackable.(b) neck & closure arrangement. threaded neck with minimum 1.5 turn thread engagement (as per is 7408-2). closure to ensure good & leak proof fit, to be tested as per is 27983. workmanship/ finish. free from sharp edges, flash affecting handling or sealing, pinholes, sink, marks, cracks, inclusion. inner surface smooth & deanable, with no foreign water embedded.4. material. food grade, hdpe confirming to fssai (packing) regulation 2018.4. |
