Tender Description excavation in earthwork in hilly area all heights and depths, in all kind of soil by manual /mechnical means including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. all work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etc. and to protect stability of hill side. rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). all earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the engineer-in-charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for rural road, august, 2004 and clause 1603.1 and 1603.2 of general conditions for contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of useful material for construc
