| Tender Description | m&l for repair to holes any depth, not exc 1.00 sqm each incl sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc, cutting around edges to at least 25 mm thick in depth, making good by applying tack coat with paving bituman (vg-10) @ 5kg per 10 sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chips). depth of potholes exc 30 mm all as specified and directed . m&l for premixed bituminous macadam laid/rolled with power roller 8 to 12 tonne roller and compacted to required gradient & camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) and binder content 4% (viscocity grade bitumen vg-30) by weight of total mix complete all as specified and directed. m&l for preparation of old bituminous surface by brushing with mechanical broomer for removing caked mud etc sweeping with mechanical broom |
