Tender Description note: contractor should quote rates with all taxes. drilling of exploratory bore hole in 1st instance of not less than 125mm diameter at the selected site of proposed tube well up to a depth of 150 mtrs. below ground level. in case sufficient/suitable water bearing strata is encountered to the satisfaction of the department at the drilling site , then production tube well shall be constructed on same spot after reaming to required size or in the vicinity, otherwise the contract will be closed and payment will be made for the exploratory borehole only. the job includes collection and preservation of soil samples in wooden trays after drilling of every 10 feet. the test bore is to ascertain the lithological nature/thickness and depth of the reliable water bearing horizon. note :- actual requirement and billing will be made as per site conditions. payments will be made if it fails to yield water. transportation/installation of drilling unit / equipments, tools and plants up to site of
