| Tender Description | survey and demarcation of plantation boundary lines after clearing the rank growth to a width of 2 m. in the areas with sparse under growth;ripping along the contours at an appropriate interval to a depth of 75 cm, with a ripper attached to the bulldozer; the ripper having side attachment, which will rip open a trench to a width of 45 cm (on running meter basis). 500 trenches or 2150 rmtr.;mechanical excavation of cattle proof trench of size top width 1.5 m. bottom 1.0 m. & vertical depth 1.0 m. with an initial lead up to 2 m. & depositing the excavated soil uniformly over the inner side of the cpt & forming conical mound of height 1.0 m. (including compacting the mound in hard soil or barbed wire fencing as provided in the ssr item no. 86);raising of 8" x 12" size p.b seedlings (1000+10% casuality replacement);procurement of seeds for sowing on the mounds of the cpt during next rains; |
