Tender Description it is advised to visit the site to acquaint themselves with the nature and location of work before quoting tender. the quantities which are prescribed may vary (+/-) as per site condition. painting 2 nos of 30 meters height exhaust chimneys and connecting pipes of 6 nos of d.g. sets with zinc chromate primer (anti-corrosive primer specially designed for protection of steel and metal surfaces against rust and corrosion. provides strong adhesion for subsequent coats and improves durability of the paint system. work procedure: • surface shall be cleaned thoroughly by wire brushing / mechanical cleaning to remove rust, dust, oil and loose scales. • surface shall be wiped dry and made free from moisture. • one coat of asian paints zinc chromate primershall be applied uniformly by brush/roller. • primer coat shall be allowed to dry completely before application of top coat. applicable areas: chimney body, exhaust pipes, ms c
