| Tender Description | repair to m.s steel shutters of mech. workshop bhagwati nagar jammu. the job includes dismantling of damaged 04 no. m.s steel shutters 2x15’x16’ and 2x15’x6’ by inspecting the damaged parts such as slats, channels, springs, shafts, checking of alignment and movement of locking mechanism. unrolling the shutter pulley to access the curtain, detaching the curtain from the shaft or barrel drum, lowering and removing slats carefully. unscrewing and dismantling of side channels/guides, removing brackets and bearing plates. dismantling the shafts and springs by securing the shaft to prevent sudden release and gradually releasing the tension springs.repairing of the shutters by checking/assessing the slats, shaft end plates and springs for bends, wear and cracks. straightening, cleaning and recoating with primer/paint. welding of shafts, brackets and replacement of damaged springs and bearings. fabrication of the parts which are beyond repair and lubricating all the moving parts.installation o |
