| Tender Description | road earrth work in cutting or in embankment filling in ordinary soll, excavation to be in the form of regular pits not exceeding 1/2 metre (20") in depth and earthwork in embankment to be in 20 cm (8") layers, including ramming and dressing the surface to be required levels and slops and also including 1.5 metre (5 fts) lifts and 30 m. (100') lead. the earth from cutting to be used in making filling or to be disposlted as spoil banks within 30 metres (100 fts) distance as directed by engineer-in-charge. (rate is excluding royality.) transportation of sub grade soilr from 5 km wbm grade -3 providing ,laying , spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadom specification including in unifrom thikness hand paking rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kn in stages to proper grade and camber , applying and brooming ,tone screening to fillup the interstics of the coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to achieve the desired density , grade -3 |
