Tender Description vessel to be locked propeller shaft & rudder arrangements including all bushes are to be dismantled and fitted back after necessary repair. both propeller shaft worn – out journal of bush places to be metalized with machined after straightening the propeller shaft and fitted back the same after repair. both propeller gland buses (gm) & gland covers are to be re –sleeved and machined to suit with the respective shaft. both the propellers are to be bed in with the respective propeller shaft. both ‘a’ bracket and stern tube bushes to be re-rubberized. both the bend rudder stocks to be straightened and worn out journals are to be metalized & machined with renewal of flanges. both upper & lower gland bushes & gland caps are to be re-sleeved bearing renewal. ultrasonic gauging to be done only on the underwater portion of hull plate and bottom plate. corroded, holes & thinned down plates, structural members, railing posts etc. to be cropped & renewed –vessel hull plate – 3.50 mtdeck – 1.50
