Tender Description construction & maintenance of coffer dams of suitable section at the upstream side i.e., at hrc cut off wall (where minimum height will be 1m. and average width will be 1m.) as advised by the controlling/supervising officer using filled up sand bags and 250 gsm tarpaulin sheet to arrest any entry of water in the intake and exit structure and removal of the same after completion of work as per direction. responsibility of arresting entry of water into the pit, rest fully on the contractor for the entire period irrespective of weather and other conditions. (note:-in case of non-removal of the coffer dam on instruction from the department a deduction of 25 % will be made from the item rate. payment shall be deducted for any downward deviation in the size of cofferdam in pro-rata basis of the original size of the same). cleaning and removal of deposited sand / silt / debris or any other material under water, wet and slushy in nature by hydraulic excavator from head race channel (hrc) bed
