Tender Description boot anti mine infantry (bami) is being procured to provide protection to troops deployed in forward areas who have to undertake operations in landmine infested areas. these areas have vintage unrecorded minefields which keeps drifting due to weather/ landslides over a period of time and have caused casualty to own troops. these are also required for carrying out any demining activity to be undertaken by engineer troops for facilitating own move. withstand - blast of anti-personnel mine with 35 grams (essential) & 56 grams (desirable). protection - protective to foot with limited & no injury/ trauma to avoid amputation. average peak pressure - average peak pressure transmitted through the boot to the foot of the wearer should be less than 160 kg/ cm2. weight - lightweight, comfortable & ergonomic, should be less than & upto 3.00 kg. mobility - should facilitate mobility in all types of terrain and firing position. should be able to traverse five kilometers wearing the boots with assaul
