Details: earthwork in excavation by mechanical means (hydraulic excavation) / manual means in foundation pipeline trenches in all types of soft stratas comprising any of the materials such as soil, silt, sand, clay, gravel, moorum of all varietie, shingles, pebbles all types of conglomerates, laterite rocks, ordinary rocks, soft rock disintergrated rocks, fissured, shattered/decomposed rock weathered rocks and all such other materials as described under appendix a to these specification either in full or in parts as the case may be adopting any method/methods as may be convenient or permitted inclusive of chiseling, wedging etc. in all conditions such as dry, moist, foul, saturated submerged etc. and as directed by the engineer -in-charge etc. all complete in foundation pipeline trenches/ drains (not exceeding 1.5m in width 10 sq. m. on plan) including dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms including getting out the excavated soil & disposal of surplus excavated soil for all lead & all lift
