Tender Description ofc cable:supply and blowing of 8 numbers 96f multitube armoured ofc cables in 4 numbers of elcita ducts ( 4 to be laid in 2 ducts on lhs of the road and 4 to be laid in 2 ducts on rhs of the road.) g.d652 is the cable standard, single mode fibre.( sterlite or finolex). 1,63,766m (or 163.766km) will be the total length of the ofc (lhs+rhs along with sag of 5%). length also includes an extra 10m for 621 chambers to take care of future new connections at the chambers.;joint enclosure and splicing :splicing of ofc cables in chambers with joint enclosure wherever joints required. (each ofc roll is nearly 4 kms, wastage of about 300m is factored and 3.7km is considered to be installed.);fdms (fiber distribution management system) and termination : termination of 8 (eight) number 96f ofc cable at the mmr fiber distribution system, termination / fixing services.(3 mmr’s, 8 input nodes and 8 output nodes);
