| Tender Description | m&l for preparing pavement joints by removal/ taking out of the existing sealant bituminous or any other compound to a depth as directed, by chiseling from joints, cleaning the joints portion thoroughly and grinding sides of joints with grinding machine to make the surface free from dust faces of bitumen or any other sealing compound without disturbing the pavement,then finally cleaning the joints with compressed air by air blower etc providing backup material ( polypropylene backup rod) of suitable width 20 to 25% more width of joints as per available space in the pavement joints and also to maintain a depth (min 06 to 10mm) to accomodate joint sealant as specified and priming both side edges of the joint surface upto the top level of backup material with specified primer and apply polyurethane base joints sealant properly leaving 3mm gap from top surface of concrete as per manufacture's instruction using masking tape to avoid accidental sppilage , size of joints 8 to 10mm wide and 25 |
